4 area girls basketball teams alive in regional semis

Four girls basketball teams are still alive, vying in Tuesday’s regional semifinals for a berth in Saturday’s regional finals.

Three of the teams are at home. Two of the games – Class 8A-2 and Class 5A-3 – are rematches of district finals.

Here is the lineup:

Class 7A-Region 3

Sebastian River at Port Charlotte

Class 5A-Region 3

Southeast at St. Petersburg Lakewood

Class 2A-Region 3

Naples First Baptist Academy at Sarasota Christian
