BOYS BASKETBALL: Regional quarterfinals all set

The Braden River, Venice, Cardinal Mooney and Bradenton Christian boys basketball teams learned their foes for Thursday’s regional quarterfinals after district finals in Port St. Lucie and St. Petersburg.

Port St. Lucie will make the trek across the state to face Braden River, while Venice will head east to Stuart for a meeting with Martin County, the same school that eliminated the Indians’ volleyball team.

Cardinal Mooney will be home against St. Petersburg Catholic. Bradenton Christian heads to St. Petersburg for a showdown with Shorecrest.

Here is the complete schedule of the 10 area teams in the regional quarterfinals. Five of the games will be played locally.
